About me

My name is Andrew Wightman and I am a 21-year-old student at Liverpool John Moores University, currently in the last year of a BA Hons in Journalism degree. I was born in Portadown, Northern Ireland but have lived in Liverpool for the past three years.

As part of my degree I have developed skills in news and feature writing and design as well as an understanding in law and ethics and the issues facing journalism today.

I am interested in issues in Liverpool, Northern Ireland, football (particularly Everton FC and Northern Ireland), pop music, film and the internet.

I have experience in using InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Microsoft Office software.
